For Swiss SMEs & Financial Institutions

Analysis. Foundation.
Digitalization. Automation.
AI — only at the end.

Yes, I do offer consulting — but in a fixed order. I'm a founder and developer who first analyzes your data and processes, builds the foundation and digitalizes and automates what needs it — including custom software and the ARCOS platforms — and only then, if it's still warranted, talks AI strategy. Advisory is available at every stage, on request.

30 minutes, no obligation — a clear, honest read on your situation.

How I Work

A fixed order: analysis, foundation, digitalization, automation — AI last.

Many firms get offered an «AI transformation» before anyone has looked at their actual data or processes. I start the other way round: understand what's really going on, then build the foundation and digitalize and automate what needs it. Consulting is genuinely part of the offer — available at every one of those stages, on request, never jumping the queue to sell AI first.

Analyze

I look at your processes, data and organizational structure and tell you plainly what's actually there — no slideware, no jargon.

Build

Custom software and analytics platforms — including ARCOS — designed for your organization and installed in your own infrastructure.

Advise — at every stage

If you'd like a second opinion — on the analysis, the foundation, digitalization, automation, or eventually AI — I take on that role gladly, on request, as an advisor, not a vendor pushing a package.

The Five Stages

Analysis, foundation, digitalization, automation — AI earns its place last.

Each stage can stand on its own, and consulting is available at every one of them, on request. But together they follow a strict order — because that's where AI projects actually fail: not in the model, but in the missing groundwork underneath it.

Stage 1

Analysis

«What's actually happening in your data, your processes, your organization?»

Before anything is built or recommended, I look honestly at what's there — no slideware, no generic framework. Consulting is available right here, if you want a second opinion on the read.

What you get

  • A clear, prioritized picture of what's actually going on
  • No recommendation before the data has been looked at
  • A basis every later stage builds on
Stage 2 — Foundation

Foundation: Custom Software

«Does your software actually fit how your business works — or are you working around it?»

Off-the-shelf tools rarely fit a Swiss SME or financial institution exactly. I design and build software and clean data structures tailored to your processes — yours to own and run, not rented from a platform.

What you get

  • Software that matches your actual workflow, not a generic template
  • Full ownership — the code and the data are yours
  • No vendor lock-in and no recurring SaaS surprises
Stage 3

Digitalization

«Do you actually know what's happening in your organization — or are you guessing from outdated reports?»

Processes and systems get connected. Where it's the right tool for the job, this includes ARCOS PI or ARCOS Business PRO — my own platforms that turn scattered organizational data into a live, decision-grade picture.

What you get

  • Systems that talk to each other instead of living in silos
  • Decisions based on the organization's current state, not last quarter's spreadsheet
  • Runs on-premise — nDSG-compliant, no data ever leaves your infrastructure
Stage 4

Automation

«How much of this work is still done by hand, purely because nobody connected the dots?»

Once digitalization is in place, repetitive manual steps get automated — not before, since automating a broken or disconnected process just makes the mess faster.

What you get

  • Time back for work that actually needs a person
  • Fewer manual handoffs, fewer copy-paste errors
  • A measurable case for what automation actually saved

Honest note: you may not need AI at all.

For many organizations, the first four stages already solve the actual problem: clean data, connected systems, automated busywork, decisions grounded in reality. AI is only worth discussing when it solves a concrete problem measurably better than that — and I'll tell you plainly if that's not the case. That's the difference between an advisor and a salesperson.

Stage 5 — only if it earns it

AI

«Where would AI genuinely help — and where would it just be theatre?»

Once the foundation, digitalization and automation are in place — and only then — I'm available as an advisor on where AI genuinely fits: an outside perspective from someone who implements these systems himself, not someone selling a package.

What you get

  • An honest read on whether AI solves your actual problem
  • Advice from someone who implements, not just presents
  • No retainer required — engaged only if and when you want it
  • On-premise options throughout, so advice stays practical, not theoretical
The Honest Numbers

AI is not a cure-all — most projects fail.

Not because the technology is bad, but because the foundation is missing: clean data, working systems, a real business case. The major 2025/2026 studies agree:

95%
of enterprise GenAI pilots deliver no measurable business return — despite $30–40 billion in investment.
MIT NANDA, «The GenAI Divide», 2025
42%
of companies scrapped the majority of their AI initiatives in 2025 — up from just 17% the year before. On average, almost every second pilot dies before production.
S&P Global Market Intelligence, 2025
>50%
of GenAI projects were abandoned after the proof-of-concept stage by the end of 2025 — more than the original 30% forecast.
Gartner, 2024/2025

Why do they fail? The studies keep naming the same reasons — and none of them is «the AI wasn't good enough.» The foundation is almost always missing. That's exactly why I work bottom-up, in a fixed order: analysis, foundation, digitalization, automation — and only then, if it's warranted, AI.

What's the return on a working system?

Realistic model with built-in caution: the benefit comes from eliminated coordination and admin work plus direct savings (licenses, external IT, rework), with a risk discount against wishful thinking. Every assumption is adjustable.

About Me

Patrick Jauslin — I build things; I don't hand out slide decks.

I spent over 24 years in Swiss financial services and saw firsthand where digitalization and AI projects actually fail: rarely the technology, almost always missing groundwork and concepts nobody can use.

That's why I work in a fixed order — analysis, foundation, digitalization, automation, and only then AI — building the software and the ARCOS platforms myself, running in your own infrastructure. Consulting is genuinely part of the offer at every one of those stages, on request — it's just never allowed to jump the queue.

«Clarity, not slides.» That's the standard I hold every piece of work to.

Products

Two ARCOS platforms — the tools behind stage three.

For the digitalization stage, I bring finished, proven platforms of my own — each installed in your environment, with no cloud dependency. Both are live products with their own site; use them or don't, they're never a required add-on.

Organizational Intelligence

ARCOS PI

For leadership teams & Swiss SMEs

An organizational intelligence system for leaders. It makes visible what's actually inside your organization: Who can do what? Where are the bottlenecks? What risks are hiding in knowledge and staffing?

  • Skills & knowledge map — recognized from real work, not surveys
  • Bottleneck & risk analysis — critical knowledge sitting with one person, visible before they leave
  • Leadership cockpit — the state of the organization at a glance

AI Placement

ARCOS Business PRO

For placement agencies & recruitment consultants

An AI placement platform for agencies and recruitment consultants. It ranks candidates by fit, surfaces transferable skills across industries, and flags gaps before the interview — turning hours of screening into minutes.

  • AI co-pilot — ranks candidates by fit-score, not keyword match
  • Structured shortlists — actionable recommendations instead of raw lists
  • On-premise & nDSG-compliant — candidate data never leaves your infrastructure

On-premise means: your data stays inside your company. No external cloud services, no dependency on tech giants — compliant with the Swiss Data Protection Act (nDSG) and FINMA expectations. Both platforms are also available through custom integration work as part of the digitalization stage above.
Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer consulting?

Yes — consulting is genuinely part of what I offer, on request, at any point. It's just sequenced deliberately: analysis first, then the foundation (clean data and custom software), then digitalization, then automation, and only at the end — if it still makes sense — AI. Advisory never jumps the queue to sell an AI project prematurely.

What order do you actually work in?

Five stages, always in this order: (1) Analysis of data, processes and organizational structure. (2) Foundation — custom software and clean data. (3) Digitalization — connecting processes and systems, including ARCOS PI or ARCOS Business PRO where relevant. (4) Automation — removing manual work once digitalization is in place. (5) AI — only once the business case is real. Consulting is available at every stage, not only at the end.

Is Quantix Systems a fit for a Swiss SME looking for AI consulting?

If you want to start with an AI workshop before anyone has looked at your data, probably not — that's not the model. If you want someone to analyze what's actually happening in your organization, build the foundation and digitalize and automate what needs it, and only then discuss AI if it's still relevant, yes. A free 30-minute call clarifies which one applies to you.

What is ARCOS?

ARCOS is the platform brand of Quantix Systems, covering two on-premise products: ARCOS PI (arcospi.com), an organizational intelligence platform for leadership, and ARCOS Business PRO (arcoshr.com), an AI placement platform for recruitment agencies. Both are used, where relevant, during the digitalization stage.

Does my organization need AI at all?

Not necessarily. Many organizations solve their real problem with the earlier stages alone — clean data, digitalized processes, automation. AI is only worth pursuing when it solves a specific problem measurably better than that — assessed with a business case, not assumed.

Does my data stay in Switzerland?

Yes. Systems are deployed on-premise inside your own infrastructure, in line with the Swiss Data Protection Act (nDSG) and FINMA expectations. There is no dependency on external cloud providers.
